In other words, you may buy EUR/USD at 1.2700 and only 10 later the Euro is at 1.2720. This degree of fluctuation is normal and may occur so many times in a 24 hour period.

If your forex trading plan is to use a day trading forex strategy, you could immediately sell your position and book a 20 pip profit. Even trading a mini contract of $10,000 this would work out to a profit of $20 for maybe only ten minutes work. Sound good? Of course! Unfortunately, in practice it is not as easy as it may sound.

To make money over time at scalping forex you would have to trade almost perfectly on a very consistent basis. If you are good forex trader you will make a lot more money by taking a somewhat longer term trading approach with your Forex Trading positions.
